I recently flew to Los Angeles to attend a "green gifting suite" during the Emmys weekend.
I was giving out Crispy Cat Candy Bars to a bunch of TV personas, most of which I've never heard of - only because I don't watch much TV! :-)
People really strive for perfection out there in California! Perfect noses. Perfect bodies. And of course, the perfect life, which can only be found in Beverly Hills! The gifting suite was set up on the grounds of the Warner Brothers mansion. It was perfect. So, I schmoozed and gabbed for 3 days all about Crispy Cats - The Perfect Candy Bar!
The perfect people loved our perfect product, and they thought I was pretty cool too, if slightly - burp - less than perfect.
A Sad Goodbye to a Real Good Guy

Our good friend and comrade, Colman Berry was recently killed in a scooter accident. Coleman was truly ‘one of a kind’ and we feel very fortunate to have known him. Coleman was known and loved by many in the natural foods industry. We are forever grateful to him for teaching us the ropes, telling us his stories and for putting his supernatural sales skills to work on our behalf. And as all who knew him already know, he will be missed very dearly. Thanks Coleman!

In October Joel, Eric, Ari and Leila headed to Boston to attend Expo East, the largest natural food trade show on the east coast. There they met fine folks from all over the industry and also got to see some of their favorite industry friends.
The trade show garners attendees and companies of an international scope and with several thousand vendors lining the show floor it’s nearly impossible to see them all. Though needless to say, when you’re giving away free candy bars and wearing brightly colored seersucker suits you’re unlikely to be lost in the proverbial shuffle. We hope a jolly time was had by all who came by the Crispy Cat booth!
